Therefore, you need to know 5 Ways to handle this stress and be successful.

  • PATIENCE:

Before you start your day, *Take a Deep Breath*. PATIENCE would be the first and foremost step you would need to be successful in this job.

You would get annoying calls, either from your customers/colleagues or anyone you would be interacting with. Don’t lose your composure.

  • TIME MANAGEMENT:

If you are working in a high-volume call-oriented job. Time Management would be most important for you.

Keep an eye on your timer.

Not 100% of calls would be finished timely, But you can get through a lot of them by answering queries quickly and precisely.

ALT + TAB ↹

The task switcher shortcut would be the handiest shortcut you would need to be quick while on a call.

This shortcut switches between application-level windows without using the mouse. Hence, it was named Task Switcher.

  • KEEN LISTENER:

You need to be a keen listener. Focus on listening first, listen to your customer’s problem.

If they are frustrated, let them vent out (You can mute your mic during this time LOL ) and give them options to solve their problem.

  • VOICE TONE :

Since no one can see you. Your voice tone should reflect your personality. Be Polite in any circumstances.

Be precise with your words: “I totally understand your frustration, and surely escalate your issue as soon as possible” could be a way out with the frustrated customer.

Your voice tone can heal some frustration.

  • SCREAM/TALK WITH YOUR WORK BUDDIES:

YESSSS! After your work. Now it’s your time to scream and vent out your frustration or hectic/stressful day with 100–300 calls.

It is the time, you can scream or talk with your work buddies and vent out all the stress you had taken the whole day.

Do not take this stress back to your home, Call oriented jobs are energy drainers.
